Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address when you register or sign in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from your Google profile — nothing else.
• Email addresses you submit for verification. Addresses you check individually or upload in a list, and the verification results we generate for them.
• Billing information. Handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store card numbers.
• Usage data. Basic logs and metrics needed to operate the Service (for example, the credit ledger recording each verification you have run).

How we use information

• To provide email verification and return results to you.
• To manage your account, credit balance, and billing.
• To provide support and send service-related messages.
• To secure and improve the Service.

Email verification and sending

ClearMX never sends email to the addresses you verify. We check syntax, domain and MX records, disposable and role signals, and — where enabled — talk to the receiving mail server without ever delivering a message. We process the addresses you submit solely to produce your verification results; we do not use them for marketing and we do not sell them.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as our hosting provider and Stripe for payments), and only as needed for them to perform their function. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data and verification history for as long as your account is active. You can delete verifications and lists at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@clearmx.app.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@clearmx.app.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
